The journey to Catió will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach Catió, continue south towards the village of Cacine. From Cacine, follow the signs directing you to Rio Corubal, which is located approximately 15 km northeast of the village. Be prepared for some rough terrain, and consider using a 4x4 vehicle for better access. Make sure to have a map or GPS device ready, as local signage may be limited.

    For those using public transportation, take a shared taxi (also known as 'almendras') from Bissau to Catió.
