Getting There

Car
From Kindia, head west on the N1 road towards Conakry. Continue for approximately 40 km until you reach the town of Tioro. In Tioro, take the left turn onto the road leading to the coastal area of Kassa. Follow this road for about 15 km until you reach the ferry terminal at the coast. Here, you will need to park your car and board a ferry to Ile Kassa. The ferry ride typically takes about 30 minutes.

Public Transportation (Taxi-Brousse)
Start at the main taxi-brousse station in Kindia. Look for a taxi-brousse heading towards Conakry. The fare is generally about 5,000 GNF (Guinean Francs) for the trip. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Tioro. Upon arrival in Tioro, you can either walk or take a local motorcycle taxi to the coastal area where you can catch the ferry. The motorcycle taxi should cost around 2,000 GNF. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Ile Kassa, which is usually around 10,000 GNF.
