Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from Conakry, the capital of Guinea. Head east on N1 towards Coyah. Continue on N1 for about 60 km until you reach the junction for N4 towards Kindia. Follow N4 for approximately 90 km until you reach the town of Mamou. From Mamou, take Route Nationale 1 towards Kankan. After about 100 km, look for signs directing you towards Juapong, Ghana. The Adomi (Adome) Bridge is located at 63RW+3Q9, Juapong, Ghana. Use a GPS or map application for precise navigation. Be mindful of road conditions and potential tolls along the route.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, start by taking a local bus or shared taxi from Conakry to Mamou. The trip takes around 3 to 4 hours and costs approximately 20,000 GNF. Once in Mamou, you will need to find a bus or shared taxi heading towards Kankan. After a journey of about 4 hours (costing around 25,000 GNF), get off at the nearest station that offers transport to Juapong. You may need to ask locals for assistance in finding the right transport to Juapong, as services can be sporadic.
