Getting There

Walking
Start from the Anna Regina market area, which is the central hub of the town. Head south on the main road (Public Road) towards the Essequibo Coast. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer, passing by local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for signs that indicate Supenaam. You will eventually reach a junction. Turn left onto the road that leads to Supenaam. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers. As you walk, you will notice the landscape changing to a more scenic view along the coast. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Supenaam Promenade, which will be on your right side. Enjoy the views of the Essequibo River from this beautiful spot.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local vendors in Anna Regina. Start from the Anna Regina market area and head south on the Public Road. Cycle for about 1 kilometer, passing various shops and local attractions. At the junction, turn left onto the road towards Supenaam. This road is fairly smooth and will allow for a pleasant ride. Continue for about 2 kilometers, and in approximately 15 minutes of cycling, you will reach Supenaam Promenade, located on your right. The ride is enjoyable and offers a chance to see the local scenery.

The journey will take about 30 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the Supenaam area. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Supenaam Promenade.
