Getting There

Bicycle
Start at the Bartica waterfront. Head south along the main road towards the center of Bartica. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with the main road leading to the nearby communities. Take a left turn onto the road heading towards the Nismes area. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. At the fork, bear right and continue for another 2 kilometers. You will pass several small shops and local houses along the way. Look out for signs indicating the direction to Nismes. Once you reach Nismes, follow the signs to Conservancy Dam, which will be on your left after about 1 kilometer.

Walking
From the Bartica market square, head south along the main road. After about 400 meters, you will encounter a junction. Turn left at the junction towards Nismes. Continue walking straight for about 4 kilometers. You will walk past local homes and some small shops. After reaching the small bridge, continue for another 1 kilometer until you see the signs for Conservancy Dam. The dam is located immediately after you cross the bridge on your left.

Starting from the Bartica waterfront, you can hire a boat to take you to Nismes. Inform the boat operator that your destination is Conservancy Dam. The boat ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Nismes, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the dam. Follow the local signs to find your way to Conservancy Dam from the drop-off point.
