If you are driving from Georgetown, take the East Bank Demerara Road (also known as the Soesdyke-Linden Highway) heading towards Linden. Continue for about 40 km until you reach the junction for the Cuyuni-Mazaruni region. Follow the signs for the Cuyuni-Mazaruni Road. This road will take you through various settlements. Make sure to have a GPS or a reliable map, as some areas may not be well marked. Once you approach the Tuschen area, you will need to look for RJ37+56 coordinates, which will lead you directly to Conservancy Dam.

From Georgetown, you can take a minibus to Linden. These minibuses leave from the bus park at Stabroek Market and cost approximately GYD 1,500. Once in Linden, you can catch another minibus heading towards the Cuyuni-Mazaruni region. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Tuschen. The fare from Linden to Tuschen will typically be around GYD 1,000. When you arrive in Tuschen, ask locals for directions to RJ37+56, as it is a well-known landmark.
