Amazing tour with an amazing guide!

My parents and I had an amazing tour of Linden with Cherry-Ann. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable, which made the entire experience engaging from start to finish. Cherry-Ann did a fantastic job explaining the history of Linden, especially its importance in bauxite mining—from the town’s development around the industry, to the closure of the bauxite refinery, and how current mining operations function today. She shared these details in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely interesting. The drive to Linden was just as enjoyable as the tour itself. There was never a dull moment—she kept the conversation flowing with stories about daily life in Guyana, local culture, and broader Guyanese history, which added so much depth to the experience. The food was excellent and felt like a true local highlight. Overall, this tour was informative, fun, and memorable.
