If you are driving from a location in the Mazaruni River area, head southeast towards the Kurupukari Crossing on the Essequibo River. The Iwokrama River Lodge is approximately 30 kilometers away from the crossing point. Follow the road signs towards the Iwokrama Rainforest Reserve. Once you reach the reserve, follow the designated paths to the lodge. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as some roads may be unpaved.

For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus or hire a taxi from your location in Mazaruni River to Kurupukari.
