Car
If you are driving from the town of Lethem, take the Lethem-Surama road (also known as the Rupununi Road). Follow the signs toward Surama village. The road is about 60 kilometers and should take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on road conditions. Once you reach Surama village, look for signs directing you to SURAMA ECO-LODGE, which is located at the coordinates 4.1463° N, 59.0600° W.
Public Transportation
From Lethem, you can catch a minibus or hire a taxi to Surama village. The bus ride will take about 1.5 hours and should cost around GYD 1,000 to GYD 1,500. Once you arrive in Surama village, you can either walk or ask a local for directions to SURAMA ECO-LODGE, located at 4WWQ+GXH. It is a short distance from the village center.
Walking
If you are already in Surama village, SURAMA ECO-LODGE is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the village center. Head northwest along the main path, and look for signs directing you to the lodge. The lodge is situated just outside the village, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.
