At this intersection, turn left onto Rue 18. Follow this street until you reach the main road, Route Nationale #1. Cross the road carefully and continue straight ahead, following the signs for Citadelle Laferrière. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will enjoy the local scenery along the way.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Cap-Haïtien. Start from Place d'Armes in the city center and head towards Rue 15, then turn onto Rue 18. Follow it until you reach Route Nationale #1. Turn right onto the main road and cycle for about 3 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Citadelle Laferrière. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, and be sure to wear a helmet for safety.
