Getting There

    If you're driving from Côtes-de-Fer, head northwest on Route Nationale #1 (RN1) towards Marmelade. Continue on RN1 for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the junction with Route de la Citadelle. Turn left onto Route de la Citadelle and follow the signs towards Laferriere Citadel. The last stretch to the Citadel is a steep and winding road. Make sure to drive carefully, as the area can be challenging. Upon arrival, there is a parking area near the entrance.

    Catch a local bus or tap-tap (shared taxi) from Côtes-de-Fer to the nearest town, Marmelade. Buses usually depart from the main square in Côtes-de-Fer.
