    From the center of Hinche, head west on Avenue des Drapeaux towards Rue de l'Intendance. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue des Martyrs. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach the entrance of the Citadel road. Follow the signs leading to Laferriere Citadel, which is approximately 4 kilometers uphill from this point. The hike is steep, so be prepared and take your time.

    From any central location in Hinche, look for a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) stand. Tell the driver you want to go to Laferriere Citadel (you can say 'Citadelle Laferrière').
