From the center of Les Cayes, head south toward Rue de la Réserve. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 2. Turn left onto Route Nationale 2 and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the sign for Port-a-Piment. The road will start to curve toward the coast. Follow the signs to Port-a-Piment and keep walking along this route for another 4 kilometers. You will pass through small villages and see local shops along the way. Once you reach Port-a-Piment, look for a local guide or ask locals for directions to Cave Grotte Marie-Jeanne, which is located at 7W34+654. The cave is approximately 1 kilometer from the main road.

Starting from the Les Cayes market, rent a bicycle and head south on Rue de la Réserve. Follow the road straight until you hit Route Nationale 2. Turn left onto Route Nationale 2 and cycle for about 1.5 kilometers to reach the Port-a-Piment junction. Continue straight on Route Nationale 2, following the coastal road for around 4 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local signage directing you to Port-a-Piment. Once you arrive in Port-a-Piment, you can park your bicycle and ask locals for directions to Cave Grotte Marie-Jeanne, which is roughly 1 kilometer from the main road.

From the central bus station in Les Cayes, take a tap-tap (a shared pickup truck) heading towards Port-a-Piment. Tell the driver you want to go to Cave Grotte Marie-Jeanne. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Port-a-Piment, get off at the main market area. From there, ask locals for directions to the cave, which is about 1 kilometer away. You may need to take a short walk or hire a local guide to take you to the entrance.
