Once you cross the border into the Dominican Republic, continue on Route 1 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Pepillo Salcedo. The entrance to Manglares de Estero Balsa National Park is located at M7X5+2CC in Pepillo Salcedo. Be sure to have your passport and any necessary documents ready for border crossing. There may be fees for crossing the border, typically around $10 USD.

    From Nord, take a tap-tap (shared taxi) to Cap-Haïtien. The fare is usually around 50 HTG.
