If you are driving from Pic la Selle, start by heading southwest on Route Nationale 2 (RN2) towards Port-au-Prince. Continue on RN2 for about 45 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route de l'Aeroport. Take a left at the intersection and continue straight to reach the border crossing to the Dominican Republic at the Jimani border. Once you cross the border, follow the signs to Playa Pedernales, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from the border.

To reach Playa Pedernales using public transportation, first, find a tap-tap (shared taxi) in Pic la Selle that is headed towards the nearest bus station in Port-au-Prince.
