Turn onto this road and follow the signs for Sendero de la Virgen, which is approximately 15 minutes away. As you approach, look for a small parking area where you can leave your car safely.

To reach Sendero de la Virgen via public transportation, take a bus from Neiba to Barahona. The trip takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Barahona, you will need to take a local 'carro publico' (shared taxi) or a motorcycle taxi to get to Sierra de Bahoruco. Inform the driver that you're headed to Sendero de la Virgen, and they will take you to the entrance. The cost for the 'carro publico' is typically around 100 DOP.
