Continue on RN2 until you reach the intersection with Boulevard Jean-Jacques Dessalines. Turn left onto Boulevard Jean-Jacques Dessalines and continue until you reach HM78+V3P, where Pont Rouge is located. The total drive should take approximately 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation (Tap-Tap)
To reach Pont Rouge via public transportation, take a Tap-Tap (shared taxi) from Sud to Port-au-Prince. You can find Tap-Taps in designated areas in Sud. Once in Port-au-Prince, request to be dropped off at Boulevard Jean-Jacques Dessalines. From there, you can walk to HM78+V3P where Pont Rouge is located. The Tap-Tap ride will cost around 100 to 150 HTG depending on your starting point.

For a more budget-friendly option, you can take a public bus from Sud to Port-au-Prince. Buses leave regularly and you should look for one heading towards the capital. Upon arrival at the main bus station in Port-au-Prince, take a motorcycle taxi (moto) to Boulevard Jean-Jacques Dessalines. The bus fare is approximately 50 to 75 HTG, while the moto ride may cost around 50 HTG. Walk to HM78+V3P to reach Pont Rouge.
