Car
If you are traveling by car, start from your accommodation in Cayos Cochinos. Drive towards the main road leading out of the island. Follow the signs towards Chamelecón. The drive will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Chamelecón, look for Modulo III on 10 Calle. The Centros de Visitantes is located at the coordinates 15°57'10.0N 86°30'00.0W. Make sure to park in designated areas and be mindful of local traffic rules.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, locate the bus terminal in Cayos Cochinos. Board a bus heading towards La Ceiba, and ask the driver to drop you off at Chamelecón. The bus ride may take about an hour. Once you arrive in Chamelecón, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Modulo III on 10 Calle where the Centros de Visitantes is located. Expect to pay around 20-50 Lempiras for the taxi ride.
Boat Transfer
If you are on a nearby island or coastal area, consider taking a boat transfer to Cayos Cochinos. Look for local boat services that operate between the islands and Chamelecón.
