Driving
If driving from Tegucigalpa, take the CA-5 highway northeast towards the junction for Olancho. Turn onto Carr. a Olancho and continue for approximately 20 km. Cuesta de la India will be on your left. Parking is available near the site.
Public Transport
From Tegucigalpa, take a local bus to La Paz (approx. 50 Lempiras). Transfer to another bus heading towards Olancho (approx. 100 Lempiras). Inform the driver you wish to disembark at Cuesta de la India. The landmark is well-known among locals. Total travel time is around 3-4 hours.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Consider hiring a taxi or using a rideshare service from Tegucigalpa. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which can range from 1,000 to 1,500 Lempiras (approximately $40 - $60 USD) for a one-way trip.
