    If you are driving, start from Intibucá and head south on CA-4. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of San Francisco de Opalaca. Once in San Francisco de Opalaca, follow signs towards the center of the town and then look for a small road leading to La Ceibita, which is located at coordinates 14.5681756, -88.3069213. The final stretch may be a bit rugged, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

    Public Transportation

    To reach La Ceibita by public transportation, take a bus from Intibucá to San Francisco de Opalaca. Buses run regularly and the fare is approximately 50 Lempiras. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the central square in San Francisco de Opalaca. From there, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to La Ceibita. The taxi fare should be around 100-150 Lempiras depending on your negotiation skills.
