If you are driving, start from La Paz City and head east on the CA-5 highway towards Francisco Morazán. Continue to follow CA-5 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for El Agua Caliente. Turn right onto the road leading to El Agua Caliente and follow it for about 10 kilometers. Once you arrive in El Agua Caliente, look for signs directing you to Los Hervedero. It should be located near the coordinates 14.6799, -87.2776. Be aware that the roads may be unpaved and require caution.

To reach Los Hervedero via public transport, take a bus from La Paz City to Francisco Morazán. Buses frequently depart from the main bus terminal in La Paz. The fare is typically around 50 Lempiras. Once you arrive in Francisco Morazán, find a local taxi or a shared van that goes to El Agua Caliente. The cost for this leg of the journey should be around 30 Lempiras. In El Agua Caliente, ask the driver or locals for directions to Los Hervedero, which is a short distance away from the main road.
