    If you are driving, start from the main city in the Lempira Region, such as Gracias. Take CA-4 towards La Esperanza. Continue on CA-4 for about 1.5 hours, following the signs towards Tegucigalpa. Near La Esperanza, you will connect with CA-4 towards the coast. After about 2 hours, you will reach the junction for Coxen Hole. Follow the signs to Coxen Hole. Once in Coxen Hole, navigate to Main St where Maya Key is located at 8F67+F42.

  • Public Transportation

    To use public transportation, catch a bus from Gracias to La Esperanza (which takes about 1 hour). From La Esperanza, board a bus to Tegucigalpa. Once in Tegucigalpa, take a bus that goes to Coxen Hole. The bus ride from Tegucigalpa to Coxen Hole takes approximately 3 hours. When you arrive in Coxen Hole, ask locals for directions to Main St, where Maya Key is located at 8F67+F42. Be prepared to walk a short distance from the bus station to the location.
