From any point in the Lempira Region, head towards La Esperanza on the main highway. Once you reach La Esperanza, continue on the CA-4 highway towards Tegucigalpa. After about 2 hours, you will arrive in Tegucigalpa. From Tegucigalpa, take the highway towards La Ceiba (CA-13). This journey will take approximately 3 hours. Once you reach La Ceiba, follow the signs to the ferry terminal where you can catch a ferry to Roatan. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and tickets cost around $29 USD. After arriving on Roatan, you can take a taxi to French Cay, which will take about 20 minutes, costing approximately $15 USD.
