If you're driving, start from the town of La Union in Olancho. Head southeast on the CA-13 highway. Follow the signs towards Juticalpa, and after approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Las Quebradas. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers, navigating through the rural areas. Once you reach the vicinity of Las Quebradas, look for the coordinates 9F76+XXC which will guide you to El Chile, located in a scenic area known for its natural beauty.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Juticalpa that heads towards La Union. Buses leave frequently from the central bus terminal. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Las Quebradas area. After approximately an hour, you will arrive at Las Quebradas. From there, you may need to hire a local taxi or find a motorcycle taxi to take you the remaining distance to El Chile, approximately 5 kilometers from the bus drop-off point. Expect to pay around 100-150 Lempiras for the taxi ride.
