If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Pico Bonito National Park, which is located near La Ceiba. Drive towards La Ceiba on the CA-13 highway. Once you reach La Ceiba, follow signs to the outskirts of the city and take the road leading to the community of El Pital. Continue on this road until you reach the coordinates P7HF+X7, which will take you directly to the Ghost River area. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as some roads may be unpaved.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus from La Ceiba to the El Pital area. Buses leave regularly from the central bus terminal in La Ceiba. Inform the driver you want to disembark at the nearest stop to Ghost River. After getting off, you may need to hike or arrange for a local taxi to reach the exact location at P7HF+X7. Be prepared to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver.

Hiking
