Walking
From the central square of Puerto Cortés, head west towards the waterfront. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the main road (Carretera CA-9). Turn left on the main road and follow it for approximately 6 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Omoa. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will arrive in Omoa. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the street that leads to the fortress. The Fortaleza de San Fernando will be on your left.

From the central bus station in Puerto Cortés, look for a bus heading to Omoa. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Omoa, get off at the main stop. From there, head towards the coast and follow the road to your left. Walk straight until you reach the Fortaleza de San Fernando, which will be clearly marked.

Bicycle
If you can rent a bicycle in Puerto Cortés, head west towards the waterfront and follow the coastal road (Carretera CA-9). The ride to Omoa is approximately 6 kilometers and takes about 20-30 minutes. Once in Omoa, continue straight on the main road until you see the signs indicating the direction to Fortaleza de San Fernando on your left.
