    From the central plaza in Santa Rosa de Copán, head west on Avenida 3 until you reach the intersection with Calle 5. Turn left onto Calle 5 and continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the main road (CA-11). Here, you will see signs directing you to Copán Ruins. Continue walking along CA-11 for approximately 20 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Copán Ruins on your right.

    Head to the main bus terminal in Santa Rosa de Copán, which is located near the central plaza. Look for buses heading towards Copán Ruinas; these are typically marked with 'Copán Ruinas' on the front. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Copán Ruinas, ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Copán Ruins. From there, it will be a short walk to the entrance.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a local taxi. Find a taxi near the central plaza or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. The taxi ride to Copán Ruins will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to the 'Ruinas de Copán.' The driver will drop you off right at the entrance.
