Walking
From the center of Utila, head towards the main road (Central Avenue). Walk along Central Avenue until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Sandy Bay. This is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Continue straight on this road, and you'll pass several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Sandy Bay. After about 10 minutes, you will see Captain Julio Bodden on your right, just after passing the Sandy Bay Community Center.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Utila. Start at Central Avenue and make your way towards the Sandy Bay Road. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once on Sandy Bay Road, keep an eye out for Captain Julio Bodden on your right. It’s a great way to enjoy the scenery while getting to your destination.

If you're near the waterfront, you can take a local taxi boat. Head to the Utila dock and find a taxi boat heading towards Sandy Bay. Inform the captain that you are going to Captain Julio Bodden. The boat ride takes about 5-10 minutes. Once you arrive in Sandy Bay, disembark and walk towards the shore; Captain Julio Bodden is a short walk away from the boat landing.
