Car
If you are driving from Gracias, head northwest on the CA-4 highway. After about 10 km, take the exit toward Villaverde. Continue on the road for approximately 3 km until you reach the entrance to Parque Nacional Celaque. Be sure to keep an eye out for signs indicating the park entrance. The road can be bumpy in parts, so drive with caution.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Gracias, take a local bus heading towards Villaverde. Buses are available from the central bus terminal in Gracias. The journey usually takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Villaverde, you can either walk or take a taxi to the park entrance, which is about 3 km away. Be sure to confirm with the bus driver that they stop at Villaverde.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Gracias to take you to Parque Nacional Celaque. This option is more expensive but will save you time. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it typically costs around 200-300 Lempiras. The taxi will take you directly to the park entrance.
