    If you're driving from nearby towns in the Balaton Uplands National Park, take Route 71 towards Szigliget. Continue on Route 71 for approximately 15 km until you reach the town. Once in Szigliget, follow the signs for the Szigligeti Vár (Szigliget Castle) which is located at the coordinates 46.804325 latitude and 17.4364187 longitude. There is parking available near the castle.

    To reach Szigliget using public transportation, start from a major town like Balatonfüred. Take Bus 73 towards Keszthely and get off at the Szigliget bus stop. The journey takes about 30 minutes. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to Szigligeti Vár. Follow the signs directing you towards the castle, which is approximately 800 meters away.

    If you are already in Szigliget or nearby and wish to walk to the Szigligeti Vár, find your way to the main road (Fő utca). Head towards the hill where the castle is located. The walk is approximately 1 km uphill, taking around 15-20 minutes. The path is well-marked with signs indicating the castle's direction.
