Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start from Deák Ferenc tér, a major transport hub in Budapest. From here, take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the next station, which is Széll Kálmán tér. Upon exiting the metro, follow the signs to the bus terminal. Look for Bus 27, which will take you towards the Citadella. Get off at the 'Citadella' stop. From there, it's a short walk uphill to Kilátóterasz, where you'll be rewarded with stunning views of Budapest.

    If you are near Gellért Hill, you can walk to Kilátóterasz. Start from the Gellért Hotel and head towards the Gellért Hill. There are well-marked paths leading to the top.
