Getting There

  • Metro

    Take Metro Line 2 (the red line) from any station in Budapest. If you are near Deák Ferenc tér, board the train towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the 'Széll Kálmán tér' station. From Széll Kálmán tér, exit the metro station and walk towards the tram stop.

  • Tram

    At the Széll Kálmán tér tram stop, board tram number 61 or 56 towards 'Dózsa György út' or 'Szent Lukács fürdő'. Get off at the 'Várkert Bazár' stop. Once you step off the tram, you will see a large park and a beautiful view of the Buda Castle.

  • Walking

    From the 'Várkert Bazár' tram stop, walk up the stairs towards the Buda Castle. Continue walking straight, passing through the historic courtyard area. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach Szentháromság utca. Turn left onto Szentháromság utca, and the Old Town Hall will be on your right at number 2.
