Public Transport
If you are starting from the Deák Ferenc tér metro station, take Metro Line 1 (yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the next stop, which is Vörösmarty tér. From Vörösmarty tér, walk to the bus stop and board bus number 16 towards Károlyi Mihály utca. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Jezsuita lépcső' stop. The Statue of St. Stephen I is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs leading to the monument located at Jezsuita lépcső 1-3.

If you are already in the Buda Castle area, the Statue of St. Stephen I is within walking distance. Start at the main entrance of Buda Castle and head towards the Fisherman’s Bastion. Once you reach the Bastion, continue walking along the path leading down the hill, and you will find the statue at Jezsuita lépcső 1-3, which offers a great view of the city.

Tram
From the nearest tram stop at Széll Kálmán tér, take tram number 61 towards Kiscelli Múzeum. Ride for about 4 stops and get off at the 'Dísz tér' stop. From there, follow the signs to the Buda Castle area, then walk towards Jezsuita lépcső. The Statue of St. Stephen I will be on your left as you approach the steps.
