Public Transport
From Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro Line 1 (Yellow Line) in the direction of Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the next stop, which is Vörösmarty tér. Exit the station and walk towards the riverbank of the Danube. From there, you will see the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. Walk across the bridge, enjoying the view of Buda Castle and the Parliament Building. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight onto Clark Ádám tér, then take the funicular (Budavári Sikló) up to Buda Castle. After reaching the top, walk towards the castle complex and follow signs to Szentháromság tér, where Matthias Church is located.
Walking
If you are near the Buda Castle area, you can simply walk to Matthias Church. From the main entrance of Buda Castle, head towards the Fisherman's Bastion. After visiting the bastion, continue walking along the path towards Szentháromság tér. Matthias Church will be directly in front of you as you approach the square.
Tram
Take tram number 19 or 41 to the 'Halász Bástya' stop. Once you get off, walk towards the Fisherman's Bastion. From there, you can easily reach Matthias Church by walking straight through the castle district until you arrive at Szentháromság tér.
