Getting There

Walking
From the Castle District, make your way to the nearest metro station, which is 'Széll Kálmán tér' (Line M2, the red line). If you're starting near the Buda Castle, you can walk down the hill to reach the station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Once at 'Széll Kálmán tér', board the metro towards 'Örs vezér tere'. After two stops, get off at 'Deák Ferenc tér'.

At 'Deák Ferenc tér', transfer to Line M1 (the yellow line). Take the metro towards 'Vörösmarty tér' and get off at 'Vörösmarty tér' station. From there, exit and look for the tram stop for Tram 2.
