Walking
If you are already in the Inner City, Vörösmarty tér is easily accessible by foot. From the famous Deák Ferenc tér, which is a central hub, head north on Deák Ferenc utca. Continue straight until you reach Vörösmarty tér, which should take about 10 minutes. Look for the iconic Gerbeaud Café on your left as you approach the square.
Public Transport - Metro
You can take the M1 metro line (the yellow line) from any nearby metro station in Inner City. Get off at the 'Vörösmarty tér' station. The station is just a short walk from the square. Follow the signs as you exit the metro, and you will find yourself at Vörösmarty tér.
Public Transport - Tram
If you are near the tram stops on the main streets, you can take trams 2 or 47. Board the tram and get off at the 'Vörösmarty tér' stop. The square will be right in front of you when you exit the tram.
Public Transport - Bus
For those near bus stops, several bus lines connect to Vörösmarty tér. Look for buses 100E or 16, and get off at the 'Vörösmarty tér' stop. From there, you can easily walk into the square.
