If you are in Inner City, the easiest way to reach Gellért Hill is by walking. Start by heading towards the Danube River and find the famous Szabadság híd (Liberty Bridge). Cross the bridge, enjoying the views of the river and the surrounding architecture. Once you reach the Buda side, continue straight along the riverside path. You will eventually reach a staircase leading up to Gellért Hill. Take the stairs, which will lead you to the top where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Budapest.

Public Transport - Tram
From Inner City, you can take tram number 47 or 49 from the closest tram stop. Get on the tram heading towards 'Buda' and ride for about 3 stops until you reach 'Gellért tér'. Once you arrive at Gellért tér, you can follow the signs leading to Gellért Hill. It’s a short walk up the hill from there. Please note that a single tram ticket costs around 350 HUF (Hungarian Forint).
