Getting There

• Public Transport - Metro and Funicular

  If you are in central Budapest, start at the Deák Ferenc tér metro station (M1, M2, M3 lines). Take the M2 (red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the Déli pályaudvar station. From there, follow the signs to the funicular station, which is a short walk away. Purchase a ticket for the funicular and ride it up to the Buda Castle. Once you exit the funicular, you will be at the Castle area. Follow the signs to Szent György u. to reach the Castle observation deck at Szent György u. 1, 1014.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From central Budapest, you can take bus number 16 from the Széll Kálmán tér (also known as Moszkva tér) bus stop. This bus takes you directly to the Buda Castle area. Get off at the 'Buda Castle' stop. After disembarking, walk towards Szent György u. and you will find the Castle observation deck located at Szent György u. 1, 1014.

• Walking

  If you are near the Chain Bridge (Lánchíd), you can walk up to the Buda side. Cross the Chain Bridge and walk straight up the hill towards the Buda Castle. It may be a steep walk, so wear comfortable shoes. Follow the streets leading to the castle complex, and once you reach the castle, follow the signs to Szent György u. 1, where the Castle observation deck is located.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Bolt or Uber. Simply enter 'Budapest, Szent György u. 1, 1014' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the Castle area, and you can easily find the observation deck once you arrive.
