Take the M1 (yellow line) metro from any station in central Budapest. If you are near Deák Ferenc tér, you can transfer to M1 there. Ride the metro towards Mexikói út and get off at the 'Hősök tere' (Heroes' Square) station. Once you exit the station, you will see the entrance to City Park (Városliget) directly in front of you.

If you are near the Danube River, take tram number 2 and get off at 'Kossuth Lajos tér' stop. From there, walk to the 'Deák Ferenc tér' metro station.
