Metro
Take the M1 (yellow line) metro from any station in central Budapest. If you are near Deák Ferenc tér, you can transfer to M1 there. Ride the metro towards Mexikói út and get off at the 'Hősök tere' (Heroes' Square) station. Once you exit the station, you will see the entrance to City Park (Városliget) directly in front of you.
Tram
If you are near the Danube River, take tram number 2 and get off at 'Kossuth Lajos tér' stop. From there, walk to the 'Deák Ferenc tér' metro station. Take the M1 (yellow line) metro towards Mexikói út and get off at 'Hősök tere' station. City Park is right in front of you as you exit the metro station.
Bus
You can take bus number 30, 105, or 70 from various locations in Budapest. If you're near Nyugati Railway Station, take bus 30 from the bus stop there and get off at 'Hősök tere' stop. City Park is just a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are staying nearby or want to explore, walking to City Park is a great option. From the city center, head towards Andrássy Avenue, which leads directly to Heroes' Square. Once you reach Heroes' Square, you can enter City Park from there. It’s a pleasant walk that takes about 20-30 minutes depending on your starting point.
