Metro
If you are near the Deák Ferenc tér station, take the M2 (red line) metro towards Örs vezér tere. Get off at the second stop, which is Astoria. When you exit the station, walk straight on Rákóczi út towards Múzeum körút. Turn right onto Múzeum körút, and you will see the Hungarian National Museum on your left at Múzeum krt. 14-16.
Tram
From the city center, find a nearby tram station and take tram line 47 or 49. Get off at the Múzeum körút / Nagytemplom stop. From there, walk towards the direction of Múzeum körút, and you will see the Hungarian National Museum at Múzeum krt. 14-16.
Bus
If you are near the Blaha Lujza tér area, take bus number 7 or 8E. Get off at the Múzeum körút / Rákóczi út stop. From there, walk down Múzeum körút for a few minutes, and the Hungarian National Museum will be on your right at Múzeum krt. 14-16.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Hungarian National Museum, simply head towards Múzeum körút. The museum is located at Múzeum krt. 14-16, easily recognizable by its grand entrance and surrounding park.
