Metro
If you are near the Deák Ferenc tér metro station, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér and get off at the next stop, which is Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út. From there, walk towards the right onto Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, and continue straight until you reach the Szent István tér, where St. Stephen's Basilica is located.
Tram
Take tram line 2, which runs along the Pest riverbank. Get off at the stop called 'Kossuth Lajos tér' and walk towards the Szent István tér. Head northeast on Kossuth Lajos tér until you reach the intersection with Szent István tér, where St. Stephen's Basilica stands.
Bus
Find a nearby bus stop and take bus number 9 or 105. Get off at the stop 'Szent István Bazilika'. Once you exit the bus, you will be at the Szent István tér, and St. Stephen's Basilica will be directly in front of you.
Walking
If you are walking from the iconic Váci utca shopping street, head towards the Danube River and continue until you reach the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. Cross the bridge and then walk straight onto Szent István tér. St. Stephen's Basilica will be located on your left side.
