Public Transport
Start your journey at Deák Ferenc tér, a central hub in Budapest accessible via Metro lines M1, M2, and M3. From Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro line M2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the second stop, which is Széll Kálmán tér. Exit the station and head towards the tram stop outside. Take tram number 61 towards Kelenföld vasútállomás.
Walking
After a short tram ride, get off at the 'Dózsa György út' stop. Walk towards the Buda Castle. You can follow the signs or use a map app to navigate through the streets. As you approach the castle, you will see the hill rising ahead. Walk up the stairs or use the funicular if you prefer a less strenuous route.
Walking
Once you reach the top of the hill, make your way towards the Buda Castle complex. From there, head to the northern side of the castle area. Follow the path around the castle until you find signs for the Water Carrier Stairs. The stairs are located on the northern side of the castle, providing a beautiful view of the Danube River.
