Car
If you are traveling by car within Bukk National Park, head towards Miskolc and follow signs for Lillafüred. Once you reach Lillafüred, look for signs directing you to Szeleta-barlang (Cave). The cave is located approximately 3 km from the center of Lillafüred. Park your vehicle in the designated parking area near the entrance to the cave, which may incur a parking fee of approximately HUF 500.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Miskolc to Lillafüred. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lillafüred bus stop, it is a 15-20 minute walk to Szeleta-barlang. Follow the path uphill, and look for signs indicating the direction to the cave. Be prepared for some uneven terrain.
Walking
If you are already within the park and want to hike to Szeleta-barlang, there are several trails leading to it from popular spots in the park. Ensure you have a park map, and follow the marked trails. The hike can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on your starting point and pace. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking footwear and carry water.
