If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Eger. Head east on Route 25, then take Route 24 towards Répáshuta. Follow the signs for Bükkszentkereszt and then continue to Répáshuta. Once in Répáshuta, look for the signs directing you to the Bükk Astronomical Observatory, which is located at coordinates 48.0560107, 20.5204857. The observatory is approximately 15 km from Eger and parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Budapest to Eger. Once in Eger, transfer to a local bus heading towards Répáshuta. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. After arriving in Répáshuta, you can either walk (approximately a 20-minute walk) or take a taxi to the observatory. Be sure to check the local bus schedules in advance, as they may vary based on the day of the week.

If you are already in the Bükkszentkereszt area, you can hike to the observatory. Follow the marked hiking trails leading to Répáshuta, which offer scenic views of the national park.
