Public Transport - Train
From Tatabánya, head to the Tatabánya Train Station (Tatabánya Vasútállomás). You can walk there if you're near the city center, or take a local bus to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Budapest. Trains to Budapest run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. After approximately 1 hour, you will arrive at Budapest's Nyugati Railway Station. From there, you can take the M3 metro line (blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at the 'Deák Ferenc tér' station, which is the main interchange. From Deák Ferenc tér, it's a short walk to Ferenciek tere. Follow the signs toward 'Ferenciek tere' and you will find it easily.

From Tatabánya, go to the local bus station and take bus number 4 (or any bus heading towards Budapest). You will reach the bus terminal in Budapest, which is close to the city center. Once you arrive at the terminal, you can either walk to Ferenciek tere or take tram line 2 towards Kossuth Lajos tér. Get off at the 'Ferenciek tere' stop. This will bring you right to your destination.
