To reach the Castle of Regec via public transportation, take a local bus from Cserehát to the nearest town, Sátoraljaújhely. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. From Sátoraljaújhely, you will need to take a taxi to reach the castle, as there is no direct bus service to it. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and may cost around 3000 HUF.
