Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Nagyvisnyó, which is approximately 10 km from the center of Cserehát. Take Route 25 towards the west, then follow signs for Nagyvisnyó. Upon entering Nagyvisnyó, continue straight until you reach Gerenna-vár, located at coordinates 48.0905416, 20.4316649. There is usually no entrance fee, but parking may incur a small fee depending on the season.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Cserehát to Nagyvisnyó. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nagyvisnyó bus station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Gerenna-vár. Head southwest on Kossuth Lajos Street, then turn left on Fő Street and continue straight until you see signs for Gerenna-vár. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited on weekends.
