Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Eger Castle (Egri Vár), exit the castle grounds and walk down on Kossuth Lajos utca towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Széchenyi utca. Turn right onto Széchenyi utca. Keep walking until you arrive at the vibrant Eszterházy Tér, which will be on your left. The walk should take about 15 minutes.

From Eger's main bus station (Autóbusz-állomás), take bus number 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Eszterházy tér'. The square is directly in front of you upon disembarking. The bus ride is approximately 5 minutes.

Walking
If you are at the Eger Basilica (Egri Bazilika), exit the basilica and head down on Kossuth Lajos utca. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Széchenyi utca, then turn left. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see Eszterházy Tér on your right.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Eger City Park (Egeri Városliget). Exit the park and head south on Széchenyi utca. Continue cycling straight for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Eszterházy Tér, which is a popular destination in the center of Eger.

Walking
From the Eger Thermal Bath (Eger Termálfürdő), head northeast on Szent János utca until you reach the junction with Kossuth Lajos utca. Turn right and continue walking straight until you reach Széchenyi utca. Turn left and walk for a few minutes until you spot Eszterházy Tér on your left side.
