Private Tour from Budapest to Prague Sightseeing
Definitely Consider This Option
We had a great experience using Sidetrip to go from Budapest to Prague on our recent vacation! Our goal was to get to Prague with a more interesting experience than riding a train or flying. Our driver/guide, Stefan, was able to customize our trip based on our preferences and time constraints. He was extremely knowledgeable about the cities we visited--Györ and Bratislava--and made sure to stop 1 or 2 times in rest areas for comfort breaks. While I don't remember the exact cost of this service, it was over €500 for 4 people to take a private car. I believe this is significantly more expensive than 1st class train tickets or an economy class flight. However, the excellent service and visiting several cities on the way made this the best choice for our group.

Private day trip from Budapest to Gyor, Bratislava & back
Lovely day and Christmas Markets
My driver George was wonderful. He not only got me safely to and from my destinations, he also provided me some history & explained a few things I was seeing. I really wanted to visit the Christmas Markets and he made sure I knew the path to them plus the normal highlights of the area. Overall, it was a lovely day.
