If you are traveling by car from Kunság to Buda Castle, start by heading west on Route 4 towards Budapest. After approximately 60 kilometers, merge onto the M0 highway towards M1/M7. Continue on the M0 for about 15 kilometers until you see signs for Budapest. Follow the signs to the city center and take the exit for Buda Castle. You will arrive at Szent György tér, where Buda Castle is located. Keep in mind that parking may incur additional fees, with rates varying depending on the time of day.

For public transportation, begin your journey at Kunság by taking a train from the local train station to Budapest’s Nyugati Railway Station. The train journey takes about 1 hour and tickets typically cost around 1,200 HUF. Once you arrive at Nyugati Station, transfer to Metro Line 3 (the blue line) in the direction of Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at Deák Ferenc tér and transfer to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Disembark at Déli Pályaudvar and follow the signs for the Buda Castle funicular. The funicular will take you up to Buda Castle, and tickets for the funicular are about 1,800 HUF for a round trip.
